fast-forward to summer

A week before Memorial Day, it was rainy and the temperature at night dipped below 45°F. I was worried about my tomatoes making it. Maybe I planted (my tomatoes) too early. Right now, its a scorching 98°F. Its too hot to go out and do gardening chores. My two kids are eating ice pops like there’s no tomorrow and driving each other crazy playing Wii inside the house. Let the fun begins – school break, swimming lessons, trip to the beach, Seattle vacation. Hello, Summer.
